1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Noon Archive ("the Platform," accessible at noonarchive.com), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
Noon Archive is intended for currently enrolled university students (initially at Crescent University, Abeokuta) and platform administrators. You must provide accurate registration information, including a valid matric number where required.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or are used to abuse the platform (e.g., excessive automated downloading, circumventing rate limits, or uploading fraudulent content).
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to share (see Section 6 and our Copyright & Takedown Policy).
- Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to bulk-download or extract content from the Platform outside of normal use.
- Attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or file-access restrictions.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your university affiliation, department, or academic level.
- Use the Platform to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content.
- Interfere with the security or normal operation of the Platform.
5. Content on the Platform
The Platform hosts past questions, lecture notes, handouts, and course materials ("Resources"). In the current version, Resources are uploaded exclusively by Noon Archive administrators; a future version may allow verified students to contribute Resources, subject to a review process described at that time.
6. Intellectual Property
- The Noon Archive name, logo, website design, and underlying software are owned by Noon Archive and may not be copied or used without permission.
- Resources hosted on the Platform (past questions, lecture notes, handouts) generally remain the intellectual property of their original authors or institutions (e.g., lecturers, course coordinators, or the university itself). Noon Archive does not claim ownership of this content.
- If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright or other rights, see our Copyright & Takedown Policy for how to request removal.
7. Reporting Content Issues
If a Resource is broken, incorrect, a duplicate, or otherwise problematic, you can report it in-app. Reports are reviewed by administrators, who may remove or update the Resource accordingly.
8. Availability and Changes to the Platform
We aim to keep the Platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (including adding new features described in our public roadmap) at our discretion, with reasonable notice for material changes where practicable.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform and its content are provided "as is." We do not guarantee that any Resource is accurate, complete, up to date, or will result in any particular academic outcome. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any material you rely on for your studies.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Noon Archive and its founders/team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in accordance with applicable Nigerian law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
